netGo

netGo is alive again! (2005-10-09)

The development of netGo has been idle for about one year now. The reason for the break is that I'm the only developer and I haven't been able to find enough time to work on netGo. The last couple of months has been very encouraging for me though. netGo has been in an article in Linux Journal , netGo has also been on Linux Format's DVD, I have recieved a lot of mails with positive feedback from users and so on.

All these factors, plus that I will be allowed to work on netGo in school time as a programming project this year made me decide to start working on a new version of netGo. The main principles of netGo will still be the same, but the coming version will contain a number of improvements and changes compared to the last version. Here are some of the plans that I've got in mind for the coming version:

A new GUI.

SUDO support.

It should be possible to bring down other interfaces.

More wireless options.

Version 0.5 released! (2004-09-03)

Changes

Feature added for executing a custom script.

Support for both ascii- and hex-keys (wireless).

The wireless settings are now executed before the other settings.

Added '--hide' parameter that only shows the trayicon at startup.

Some minor bugs fixed...
