FAQ Q: How can I change the paths to ifconfig, route etc.? Is there any way to run the "netGo Setup" again? A: At the moment, no. This is very stupid, but there's no way to access the "Setup" from application itself in the current version. This will of course be possible in the coming release. Meanwhile, you could just delete the netGo config file (which contains the file paths and the profiles) located in /home/dir/.qt/netgorc or $QTDIR/etc/settings/netgorc and the "Setup" will popup on next restart. You can also edit the config file manually. Q: Why does netGo only support WEP encryption and not WPA? netGo uses 'iwconfig' to set all the wireless settings, and 'iwconfig' only supports WEP encryption at the moment. The only application that supports WPA encryption in Linux at the moment is (as far as I know) WPA Supplicant, and it only supports a few wlan cards. But, if you're using a wlan card that is supported by WPA Supplicant and you want to use WPA encryption you can use netGo's "Execute custom script" feature. Just create a script which calls the WPA Supplicant command to set your key. Q: How can I configure an interface to use DHCP in netGo? I can't find the option. This option is very well hidden indeed. Instead of typing in a static IP for your interface in the IP Adress field (when creating a profile), enter the word "dhcp". I'm sorry for this subtle solution. I've tried to advertise about it as much as possible by taking screenshots of the DHCP option though. Q: Why does the "Search domain" feature write "nameserver hjolug.org" to /etc/resolv.conf instead of "search hjolug.org"? Is this a bug? Yes, this is a bug I'm afraid. I apologize for the inconvienience, this will of course be fixed in the coming version. If you would like to fix this mistake by yourself it's very easy. Open process.cpp, jump to line number 625 and replace "nameserver" with "search". Compile and install again - fixed! No luck?
